Your “One a Day” is back. Portugal’s first original talha wine produced exclusively in bag in box. A premium, natural wine available in sustainable, planet friendly format. The wine keeps for up to 45 days once opened. Ideal for parties and that one a day glass at home. This deep ruby wine was made naturally in talha (amphora). Aroma of dark berries & spice. Medium-dry with good acidity, low tannins, and a fresh, balanced finish. Vidigueira, Alentejo DOC Hand-harvested on 15 Aug 2023 – Temp 14C – De-stemmed, fermented with the wild yeasts & aged in talhas (amphoras) for 6 months before bottling. Unfiltered, minimum sulfites, no other additives.
Food Pairing Inspiration:
Rifle 23 finds its stride with bold, rustic flavors and hearty dishes. Try it with Arroz de Pato or a classic smash burger to bring out its juicy fruit and supple tannins. It also works beautifully with grilled lamb skewers, rich pastas like wild boar ragù, or smoky vegetarian dishes such as roasted eggplant with tahini. For cheese pairings, reach for Queijo de Évora DOP, aged Manchego, or a wedge of mature Gouda. Small bites like chorizo, black olive tapenade, and roasted almonds also play perfectly with its vibrant structure and earthy finish.
